MEDFORD, MA (March 10, 2026) -- The Tufts University men's squash team finished a strong campaign on Saturday afternoon in the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championships and the Potter Cup, earning their first-ever win at the event and then saw three Jumbos earn All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Tuesday.

Santiago Medina Carrillo and junior
Nachiket Desai were each named to the All-NESCAC First Team, while senior captain
Jared Chin was a Second Team selection. The Jumbos finished as the league runner-up for the third straight season before falling to No. 1 Trinity in the finals.
Carrillo is making his first All-NESCAC team after playing all 21 of his matches at the No. 1 spot, going 12-9 on the season. He finished second on the squad with this 12 victories, which including a five-match win streak during the middle of the season. He posted eight wins over NESCAC opponents on the season, highlighted by a four-game win over Nick Agger in the NESCAC semifinals.
Desai finished 10-8 overall on the year, with all of his matches coming at the No. 2 spot. He finished the year with wins in six of his final 10 matches, and started the season with a five-game win over Shaurya Bawa of Columbia University for a big top-10 win. He also posted seven wins over NESCAC foes in 2025-26. He repeats on the All-NESCAC First Team after picking up the award in 2025.
Chin led the team in wins this year with a stellar 14-7 mark including finishing the season with victories over Cornell University and Williams to end the season. Chin posted a eight-match win streak throughout the middle of his campaign, highlighted by nine wins on the year over conference teams. The award was the first of the career for Chin.
Trinity senior Joachim Chuah was named the NESCAC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, while Amherst newcomer Roman Parisi was voted as the NESCAC Rookie of the Year. The Trinity coaching staff was selected as the NESCAC Coaching Staff of the Year by their peers for the third year in a row.
