PRIOR TO TUFTS:  Attended Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, California, where she competed in both indoor and beach volleyball...A setter on the indoor volleyball team, she earned the Coach's Award as a senior after helping Cathedral Catholic capture the 2024 California Open State Championship during her junior season. She also helped her team place fifth in the Open Division at the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship during her freshman year and competed at the club level with Wave Volleyball...In the classroom, she was recognized as a Scholar Athlete during her junior and senior years and received the Most Rev. Francis J. Furey Senior Award.

PERSONAL: Parents Audrey and Todd Buchner...three siblings, Brooke, Tyler and Paige...sister Brooke plays beach volleyball at Cal, while brother plays football and sister plays soccer at Notre Dame...father was a football player at Colgate...chose Tufts because "Tufts felt like the perfect place to grow as both a student-athlete and a person, all while being just outside of Boston."
