PRIOR TO TUFTS: Was a two-sport standout for the Knights of North Andover High School...competed in swimming and diving and gymnastics...was captain of the gymnastics and diving teams at North Andover...was MVC Champion...member of National Honor Society, National French Honor Society...AP Scholar. 

PERSONAL: Parents Beth and Rob Buyea...has two siblings, Em and Lily...engineering major...chose Tufts "because of the teams atmosphere and challenging academics."
