2025 (Junior): The multipurpose running back appeared in nine games for the Jumbos...Rushed 134 times for 617 yards and nine rushing touchdowns as well as 29 receptions for 177 yards and two receiving touchdowns...Notched 65 rushing yards, 16 receiving yards, and a touchdown in a 22-20 win over Wesleyan...Registered 56 rushing yards, 19 receiving yards, and a rushing touchdown in a 35-28 loss to Bates...Recorded a season-high 120 rushing yards, 28 receiving yards, and three total touchdowns in a 38-28 victory at Hamilton...Collected 82 rushing yards, nine receiving yards, and two total touchdowns in a 41-20 victory versus Bates...Posted 96 rushing yards, 17 receiving yards, and a rushing touchdown in a 33-30 overtime defeat at Middlebury...Tufts finished the season with a 4-5 record

2024 (Sophomore): The lead running back appeared in nine games for the Jumbos...Rushed 167 times for 672 yards and eight touchdowns as well as 15 receptions for 108 yards...Opened the season with 61 yards rushing and two touchdowns in a narrow 23-21 victory against Bowdoin...Registered 38 rushing yards along with four receptions for 25 yards in a 20-9 loss to Wesleyan...Ran for 107 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-22 win at Bates...Recorded a career-high 131 rushing yards and a touchdown in a 27-24 win over Williams...Tallied 109 rushing yards, 35 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in a 28-21 win at Colby...Tufts finished the season with a 7-2 record

2023 (Freshman): Was a member of the Jumbos team...The Jumbos finished the season 6-3, with a third place finish in the NESCAC.

PRIOR TO TUFTS: Competed in track and field along with football for John Jay HS...was named All-State, All-Section and All-League...named as the Section 1 Class A Offensive Player of the Year in 2022...Section 1 Class A Offensive Back of the Year...Westchester Golden Dozen Award...LoHud Journal Westchester County First Team...Fam Sports Westchester County Offensive Player of the Year...helped squad to four league titles...sectional runners-up in 2020...2000 total yards of offense, including 1400 rushing and 600 receiving...scored 21 touchdowns...also part of a All-NYS 4x100 meter relay squad in track. 

PERSONAL: Parents Tyler and Sabina Shapiro...has two siblings, Olivia and Cameron...biological sciences...chose Tufts "because of the mix between great athletics, great location, and great academics into one university."
