MEDFORD, MA (March 21, 2026) -- The No. 3 Tufts University women's lacrosse team used an 8-2 second quarter to pull away from visiting and No. 21 Trinity College for a 15-5 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) on Bello Field.
The win was the fourth straight for the Jumbos overall, while Tufts has now defeated Trinity nine straight times dating back to 2019.
Tufts got on the board first with a score from senior

Schuyler Lloyd at the 10:09 mark of the opening frame, but Trinity (4-3, 2-3 NESCAC) netted the next two to give the Bantams a 2-1 lead. First-year

Claps scored three goals over that run, including one right before the halftime buzzer after a great play by Lloyd to cause a turnover near midfield.
After halftime, Lloyd saw the hard work pay off with her second of the day followed by goals from first-year
Marlo Stuart and Zorn to make it 13-4. Tufts outscored Trinity 3-0 in the third quarter.
