CRANSTON, RI (September 13, 2025) - Tufts University junior
Maria Skouloudi finished 13th at the 2025 New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) Women's Singlehanded Championship which concluded on Saturday.
Eight races were held on Saturday for a total of 12 for the two-day event. Skouloudi finished with a final score of 142 for 13th place out of 15 individuals overall.
She started strong on Saturday, with two 10ths and a seventh in her first three races.
University of Rhode Island senior Okyanus Ankan won the NEISA Singlehanded title with a 30 score. She earns an automatic berth into the Intercollegiate Sailing Association SInglehanded Nationals coming up in November.
Six automatic berths to conference champions and 12 at-large berths to other high conference finishers from across the nation will earn ICSA national berths.
