MEDFORD, MA (December 16, 2025) – For the second straight year, Tufts University has placed three players on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-America teams.
Announced today, seniors
Hannah Biccard and

Claire Casey received the All-American honors. Biccard is on the first team, while Casey and Eastburn both received third-team accolades.
The three recipients matches last season as the most All-Americans for the Jumbos since 2016. Eastburn is an All-American for the second straight year after receiving second-team honors last season. The award is the first for Casey and Biccard. Tufts is one of just four teams nationally with three or more honorees among the DIII All-Americans.
Recognized last week as the NFHCA Region II Player of the Year, Biccard scored 17 goals with six assists for 40 points this season. She tallied the game-winning goal in overtime as Tufts won the NCAA Championship with a 2-1 victory against Johns Hopkins University. Early in the season Biccard recorded five goals at Colby College to tie the school record.
Casey was a leading contributor on defense and offense for a Jumbo team that finished with a 19-3 record, tying the school mark for wins in a season. The Jumbos allowed opposing offenses an average of just 4.5 shots on goal per game this year. On corners, Casey was a key striker, recording eight goals and five assists for 21 points (third on the team).
On a team that was first in NESCAC with 73 goals, Eastburn led the support in back as she recorded a 0.98 goals against average that ranked 16th nationally. She was excellent at the "Final Four", allowing just one goal in 121 minutes of action in the national semifinals and final. Her four saves in the NCAA final helped get the Jumbos to overtime where they won the team's second NCAA title.
