CLINTON, NY (November 21, 2025) -- The No. 10 Tufts University women's squash team, up three spots in the latest College Squash Association (CSA) rankings, picked up its second win of the season Friday evening with a 9-0 sweep of host Hamilton College.
The Jumbos did not lose a game to the Continentals, as the Jumbos were able to roll to a win without the services of their top two players in
Vharsha Dinesh and
Sohni Vermani. First-year
Ella Hill made quick work of her match at No. 1, as she topped Karis Sun 11-2, 11-6 and 11-2 in 16 minutes. Sophomore
Anika Goyal was equally impressive, rolling to an 11-3, 11-9 and 11-4 win over Eleanor Bunn at the No. 2 spot.
Junior
Chloe Bergam need just 16 minutes to pick up an 11-3, 11-7 and 11-3 win at No. 3, while first-year
Sejal Virk lost just six points in three games in an 11-4, 11-1 and 11-1 over Diya Dhillon. Sophomore
Anika Parr cruised at No. 5 with an 11-0, 11-4 and 11-2 win over Lily Spencer, and
Mia Kim topped Sydney Hellinger at No. 6 3-0 with scores of 11-2, 11-1 and 11-2.
Sora Karanja rolled to an 11-4, 11-3, 11-1 win at No. 7 over Kathryn Swords, and
Sonya Bajaj cruised by Cecilia Miliaras 3-0 after an 11-2, 11-1, 11-2 win at the No. 8 position. Junior
Bridget Schutt netted an 11-1, 11-3 and 11-5 win over Mila Karimov, and
Mafi Pinot also picked up a No. 10 win over Pippa Neupert with an 11-0, 11-3 and 11-2 win at the No. 10 exhibition spot.
The Jumbos are back in action Sunday against No. 7 Cornell University in a big match in Ithaca, NY.
