CAMBRIDGE (October 23, 2022) - The Tufts University men's rowing team's first varsity eight powered its way to a seventh-place finish out of 41 teams in the Collegiate 8+ race at the Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) on Sunday.

The Jumbos continued to make a move and were ninth at the third timing point with a 12:16.563 before moving up one more spot for seventh overall with their final 14:42.342 mark.
The seventh-place effort is one better than last year's HOCR Collegiate 8+ finish of eighth, and is now the top finish ever by a Tufts men's crew in this event.
